This Regency morning gown
is a recreation of an original gown from the collection at Salisbury Museum/England, dating to c.1798-1805. It has a drop front bodice which closes with two buttons. The reproduction sticks closely to the pattern of the original garment. All visible seams and a large part of the invisible seams were sewn by hand. The front flap has decorative pleats, the long undersleeves are detachable. The gown was made of fine white cotton fabric printed with navy spots as seen on original garments of the period.
The dress has only been worn a few times and is in perfect, clean condition. Fits a bust of up to 96cm, underbust up to 85cm. You shouldn´t be taller than 1,68m.
